Sunday

Hello, dear readers!

A gift from my sister-in-law and her husband came for a visit.  They are just beautiful!

And......fresh maple syrup tapped from a Wisconsin tree!
Delicious

Today, I'm trying to make a few more of these flowers.

Along with some stash wool.  I'm going to try and attempt a Fair Isle sweater with steeks!
Not to sure about this procedure of "cutting" eeeeeek!

And last but not least Miss Sue arrived.  I'm still waiting for my reproduction fabric for a mini quilt from Keepsake.  I hope this order won't take TWO months to get here like the last one.

Well, back to one of the projects!
Until later....

Pink and White

Hello, dear readers!

I'm steadily working on these flowers for placemats.  I'm going to need 48 total.

There are 12 flowers per mat so I guess I didn't think ahead.  I thought I had quite a bit of thread.  Nope.  So, I'll have to wait and clean up the ends.  I order my threads from hhtatting.com and the orders come really quick.

Wait till you see the next project!

It has something to do with sunbonnets...

Nothing Much Today

Hello, dear readers!

Nothing much to report.

I found this bread recipe on the internet and thought it really looked good.

Okay....LOL

So I gave it a whirl.
The first thing that happened when I mixed everything up it said to let it rise 8-24 hours!  Mine was done rising within an hour!  Okay

Tried to kneed it and I needed extra flour.  Hmmmm
Okay in the oven it went.
These are the results below.

The bread was very heavy and I will have to make some changes.
 The birds might enjoy it.
I'll keep you posted.

I was playing around trying to come up with an easy crocheted flower.
I'm going to need 48 of these for some place mats.

Until later....

Tam

Hello dear readers.

A thank you to Michelle :)

Previously I blogged that due to my DH's health, I was not going to blog anymore but he convinced me to keep going and have fun. Ha!

So..., okay I did finish my tam.  I want to make a couple more.
I still have to run in the ends and block.

What I'm looking for is a tam blocker, or find a 10" plate.
I'm going to have to smoosh the top down.

Later...
