Halloween at Christmas Time

Hi everyone!

Happy New Year!

Haven't been on here for quite a while. LOL

So I went digging (again) and pulled out an old WIP.  I couldn't believe that I bought this quilt pattern from Keepsake Quilting in 2009!!!!!  Zowie

One of the first blocks I was working on and used a freezer paper template with a brush and starch BUT I forgot to take out the freezer paper.  Looked nice on the block but I couldn't stitch anything down.  Oh me.

So when I found it again, I just ripped it off and saved the background block to be used again.  I hope that I'm not going to run out of fabric.  Keeping my fingers crossed.

The pattern is by Pearl P. Pereria - Baltimore Halloween.

First I started out with a needle turn for the witch and owl.  However, I have to admit that I'm really not a very good turner. LOL  So then I decided that I was going to use a lightweight fusible and just smack 'em down on the background square and use a blanket stitch.  I'm not sure how I'm going to stitch some of the tiny pieces.

I'm trying to hurry this up because I just put in an order for another of Pearl's design "The Octopuses Garden" which I thought was the cutest and happiest quilt I've ever seen in a long time.
